You weren’t born to do the same tasks over and over again, every day, then come home and watch TV.
No. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. You were born to grow, create, socialize, and connect.
Now, this doesn’t mean that you have to be Picasso, but, on some level, you are an artist.
It’s a little bit different for everyone. The medium may change. You can create art at your job, in an office. For example, you might choose to delight your customers every day, instead of paint.
But to be truly delightful, you’ll need to tap into your creativity. You’ll need to take some risks. You’ll need to let some things (like fear, or stories that other people tell you) go.
To tie this all back to your health, if creativity rates a ‘zero’ out of ten in your life, that’s not going to support your goals of weight loss.
I wouldn’t be here today if I hadn’t started blogging every day six years ago. That was an integral part of me transforming my own health, and, eventually becoming a Health Coach.
It’s not because I have a lot of readers, either. It’s because I chose to open up to the process of putting myself out there.
So, whether you choose to blog, paint, play music, or volunteer somewhere, whatever you do to satisfy your natural urge for creativity, just get started.
