Here’s how you get your workout in early in the morning on Monday:
(1) Spend 15 minutes planning your week on Sunday night.
When you know exactly what you need to do, in what order, you’re ready to move forward without hesitation.
(2) Go to bed early on Sunday night.
Watching TV in bed does not support this – or your goals. Make it a rule: no electronics after 9 PM. Read a book.
(3) Go to bed in your workout clothes.
There’s no reason to make a decision about what to wear in the morning.
All you need to do when your alarm goes off at 4:30 AM is get up, brush your teeth, and train.
(Side note: if you have another goal, such as writing a book, then, you can use the same method to carve in 1-2 hours of writing time in the morning. Just replace the workout clothes with a completely set up writing area.)
