While many people think that traditional Paleo & Vegan diets are opposed to each other, the truth is that they’re much more similar, than different.
Yes, one camp is opposed to killing animals for food, and the other relies on animal as its main source of protein.
Yes, one camp is opposed to eating beans and grains, and the other relies on beans & grains as its main source of protein.
But what about the fact that you’re not supposed to just eat tons of meat on the Paleo Diet? In fact, your plate is supposed to contain, predominantly, vegetables.
And while the spectrum of Vegan dietary choices is wide, a good, healthy Vegan diet removes processed foods and refined sugars, just like the Paleo diet does.
Here’s the thing: diets are not religions. Yours can change. You don’t have to feel stuck on any diet, and you don’t have to compromise your moral values.
If you want to eat a little more, or less animal food today than you did yesterday, great.
It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks, or any ‘rules’ say.
What matters is how your diet makes you feel.
