What Are You Holding Onto?

Here’s a short list of examples:

  • The idea that you have to work so much to be successful.
  • Fear of telling someone how you really feel.
  • The dogma of a certain diet.

Such a list could go on forever, or be personalized more.

A big part of making progress is letting go. It might be letting go physical things, emotions, or ideas in your head.

Whatever it is, when there’s something blocking your progress, there’s usually always something that you’re holding on to.

It can be scary at first, because what you’re familiar with feels safe.

But, after you’ve practiced letting go for a while, you’ll find that it’s a healthy way to make room for what is new, exciting, and beautiful.
