I’ve failed at lifts before. (That’s somewhat obvious.)
I’ve quit things before. I’ve quit jobs, and projects. I’ve given up on a few things.
So, just to follow up on yesterday’s post, it’s not a matter or question of having some kind of ‘perfect record’ of completion or achievement.
There is no perfect, and, it doesn’t matter what your mindset was yesterday, last week, or for the entire last decade.
What does matter is that, in my own experience, ninety-nine percent of the time, when I begin with the intention that I will not fail at this, that I will give it everything that I have, the job gets done, the lift is successful, or the goal is accomplished.
Practice this in the gym, and in life. It works.
