One of the reasons I love building strong habits and routines is that they give you the strength and the freedom to deviate from them when needed.
Every week is not going to be the same. You cannot plan for what life will throw at you today.
But you can be prepared. Prepared to adapt; prepared because you’ve been disciplined until now.
So when you find yourself in that position where you have to skip or postpone your workout, or eat something that’s less than optimal, or change your entire schedule around on a moment’s notice, you’re good.
Today might feel like your best day right now, but if you manage it, and get back to your living your code tomorrow, then, I’d call that a win.
