So you’ve got some ideas, some dreams.
Perhaps you’ve been hesitant to act on them. Perhaps you’ve heard that ‘there are no new, original ideas’. Or that ‘everything that you can say has been said before’.
There may be some truth to that but, on the whole, that is untrue.
There is no one who has been through exactly what you have been through. There is no one who can say what you have to say, or do what you dream to do, in exactly the way that only you can do it.
So, it’s not a question of ‘if you should’. It’s a question of ‘when and how you should’.
You’ve got to make the time to put the work in. You’ve got to execute your idea, you’ve got to take steps towards your dream.
It won’t work on the first try.
You’ve got to put yourself out there. You’ll have to ask other people questions that they might say ‘no’ to. Questions such as ‘Would you buy this?’ or, ‘Can you introduce me to this person?’. You’ve got to get a little bit uncomfortable.
Your dream is already a reality. It’s just waiting for you to walk towards it.
