Yesterday I told you to start with food.

The other day I watched about 6 hours of television. This was very out of character for me.

But it was Conference Championship Sunday. And, even though I haven’t been avidly watching football on TV for various reasons, one of which is that I don’t like to sit still, Conference Championship Sunday is the best day of NFL football of the year. It’s better than the Super Bowl.

In addition, my father & son were both over, and wanted to watch the games.

I wanted to watch them to, so I adjusted. I cannot stand to feel lazy, so I chose not to.

I was doing pushups, pull-ups, squats, dips, abs, and lower back work all throughout the games.

I made a game out of it. Every change of possession: set of push-ups. Sometimes bodyweight. Sometimes with a child on your back.

It’s never too late to start moving, even if you’ve gotten used to sitting still all day long.

You have a choice to make: do you want to be as strong as you can be, or not?

If you do, a few push-ups while you’re enjoying the games at home is a small price to pay to get there.
