My workouts have been getting darker, deeper, and more intense lately.
I’ve been cranking up the music louder and getting after it even harder.
I’ve been doing longer warm ups and adding extra work in between sets.
I’m taking it up a notch in order to take my fitness to the next level.
But it doesn’t stop there. As with everything, there is a shadow, a flip side.
I’ve been sleeping longer, stretching more, and meditating deeper.
Because everything must be balanced, and, without proper rest, recovery, and relaxation, you will not gain as well. (Or, your body will tell you to stop.)
