Little Things

There are always little things to learn, no matter how good or experienced you are.

I’ve been doing ab twists for years, for example. But today, a Coach told me to pick my feet up off the floor. Those 2 inches make the movement that much more difficult.

Another degree of difficulty means, with practice, a stronger, more stable core over time.

I had a woman explain to me that she was really pressed for time in the morning, and she cut out making her workout smoothies.

Why not make them the night before, I asked?

And so, she will.

Always be a white belt. In fact, in martial arts, even the black belts spend time reviewing the basic white belt moves. Because you can always do them a little bit better.
