Eating well as often as possible takes hard work, discipline, and time.
When you work and have a family, you don’t have much extra free time. You have enough time, but you don’t have a few hours to just ‘give away’ either.
That’s why I recommend making your nutrition as easy on yourself as possible. You don’t need to make it any harder than it needs to be.
Prepare as much as you can in advance. When you find something that works, make a whole weeks’ supply of it, or more it it lasts.
For example, I prepare my morning green drinks in batches of five. I don’t want to squeeze fresh lemons every single day, especially if I’m running late.
I make homemade protein bars by the baking sheet. Then I cut them up and freeze them.
I make soup six or eight quarts at a time, and then freeze most of it for future use.
Maximize the time you spend cooking so that you have even more time to enjoy other things.
