Good Sunday morning to you! Sunday is the day that I usually cook for the rest of the week.
But, let’s back up a step: how can you get started cooking at all, if you’ve never really done it?
You need two things: (1) To know that you absolutely can cook anything, and (2) to get started.
You can follow a recipe; I did that in the beginning, and still do. A good one will guide you well.
But you don’t have to rely solely on a set of instructions, because those don’t always work out.
If you’ve got a pan, a pot, a stove, an oven, a strainer, and a spatula, and a little common sense, you’re in business.
With those tools, nothing can stop you.
Next week, I’ll start to get into more specifics about each one.
Sure, you’ll ruin a dish once in a while, but more often than not, you’ll impress yourself 🙂
