Saying you want to lose weight is great.
Working on it is even better.
But it’s good to be clear – at least with yourself; you don’t have to tell everyone else – why you want to do this.
Like, really why. Like dig down deep and keep asking yourself why.
Do you want to look great in a bathing suit, so that people are impressed?
Do you want to be able to run up the stairs or play ball without being out of breath?
Did you feel really crappy or embarrassed in a particular situation recently?
Did something scare you?
Whatever your reason, it’s probably a good one.
It’s what will keep you motivated.
Get clear about it.
