If you’re just looking for a number, then take ‘8’ and read no further.
However, if you really want to know how many hours of sleep you need, read on.
You see, it depends. And, you are the only one (perhaps with some guidance) who can figure it out.
First of all, ‘how many hours’ is not the only question to ask.
Of what quality is your sleep? Did you eat close to bedtime? If so, what, and how much? How did you feel when you woke up and throughout the next day? Did you exercise? Are there …
… the list goes on. These are the kinds of things we can explore together.
Getting back to the numbers: it might be more than 8. (Sorry to disappoint you!)
For some people, yes, it can be less. But for others, it might be 9 or even 10.
Which means, you may have some things in your routine which have to change.
Here’s the thing: when you find your sleep sweet spot, you’ll accomplish more during your waking hours, even if there are less of them.
I know that sounds counter-intuitive, but, it’s true.
