You Don’t Need a Program.

I follow a program. But I don’t need one.

I love the the structure of it. The progression through all of the body’s areas. The leg days, the pressing days, the circuit days.

Squatting 60%, then 70%, then 80%, then going for maxes.

But if you knocked my garage gym down with a wrecking ball, or a fire destroyed it tomorrow, I would still keep training on the sidewalk.

And if I wanted to lift something heavy, I’d find a rock.

Or I would squat one, or both, of my kids on my back.

You don’t need a program to get work done.

You just need to work.
