This morning I trained on 5 hours of sleep.
That is not hard, if you think about what some other people had to go through that’s actually hard, like concentration camps or Navy Seal training.
But neither is that recommended. Rest is very important.
Here is what I think it is:
Occasionally while training, you’re going to find yourself in this position, even if you regularly go to bed early, like me.
At that point, you have a decision to make.
Train, or skip training.
Short rest, in my experience, does not actually lower performance for early AM training sessions.
It’s simply a mental hurdle you have to cross.
That’s what I mean by ‘training for life’.
