It is not the case that every pint of organic strawberries is the same.
One organic farm might be USDA certified (have that fancy symbol), ‘monocrop’ (farm only strawberries at a massive scale), use organic pesticides (yes, I said organic pesticides), and have relatively low nutrient density.
Another organic farm might polycrop, grow their berries in small batches, without pesticides or certification, in healthier soil, and, with higher nutrient density, better flavor, and more love.
So, as you can see, it’s not just the word that counts.
It’s what’s behind it.
