My #1 struggle with home cooking is getting home early enough on weekdays to cook, in time for my family to all sit down together.
The best way I have found to combat this is to cook everything on Sunday, for the whole week.
- Prep all vegetables
- Cook, or even 3/4 of the way cook, everything
- Portion stuff out
- Make a handful of ingredients into several different dishes
- Combine leftovers at the end of the week
… and you can do this all in one 2 or 3 hour session in the kitchen, as opposed to 4 or 5 one hour sessions (or more).
You can set yourself up for success.
And, save a lot of money.
You won’t waste anything.
You’ll just have to heat, serve, & clean.
