If I asked you to do 50 push-ups, that might sound like a lot.
But if you did one every 5 minutes over the course of about four hours, you probably wouldn’t be very tired – nor would you be getting much stronger at all.
On the other hand, you did them as fast as possible, with as much time not spent resting as possible, then you would most certainly be getting a good workout in, and, getting stronger.
This applies to all kinds of work:
The time spent on the work is only one aspect.
The time not spent on the work also shapes the results.
