Today I explained the difference between two types of gluten-free bread, both made by the same company, to a bewildered consumer in the freezer aisle.
At least once during each trip I make to Whole Foods, I do an off-the-cuff consult.

Inevitably, people are confused. They don’t know what to buy. There are too many choices.

Here’s the first thing I usually say: read the ingredients.

If you don’t know what they are, start there. Learn. Find out.

Everything else on that you see on the packaging is just marketing.
