“10 Things You Wish You Knew When You Were Fifteen” via @ClaudiaYoga #IdeaMachineWishIKnew15

- That it’s OK to have no idea what you want to do in life. In fact, few people do, and, if they do, then those who pursue it are even rarer. No, it’s better to wander and discover; to figure it out on the way.
- That the idea of rejection is a positive one; you benefit from rejection, not the reverse.

- That no amount of distance separates you from any truth, challenge, or situation. You must face it, now.

- That, at fifteen, you are old enough to grab life by the horns and ride it any direction you choose.

- That ten minutes per day invested on something now, like a skill, will have a humongous payoff very soon.

- That the way to ‘get’ or ‘earn’ value is to give value to others. Solve a problem that someone else is having.

- That the way to see the future is not to add from it, but to subtract. What will not be here in 5, 10, or 20 years?

- That all successful people read voraciously, and you should read for a minimum of one hour per day – no excuses.

- That it’s OK to feel sad, and that you must talk about it with someone.

- That it’s rarely the result that matters; it’s the effort you put in. The work is the journey.

- That you can only do one thing at a time.
