The Double-Edged Sword Of Desire

One of my biggest weaknesses is that I want to do so much, because I know I am capable of that much, and probably more.
When I try to do too much, I fall short.

When I think about all of the things I want to do, I feel overwhelmed.

Yet, wanting to do so much propels me to accomplish many great things.

It’s a double-edged sword, this desire for maximum potential.

I’ve been learning lately to hold it steady and balance the power of attention behind one thing at a time.

As I practice this, each step that I take works.

I can work on three, four, or five projects in one day – but when each hour comes, it is for one thing, and nothing else.

One hour per day spent working on [insert something] adds up.

It’s been so long since I published on this site. It’s good to be back!

I’ve got so many things that I want to tell you about.

I will. Slowly.
