You Don’t Have Enough Time To Hold On To Pain.

When we feel, it always feels like it will last forever. Sometimes it’s love, sometimes it’s pain.
The reality is that whatever we are feeling will gone in an instant, vanishing faster than we can conceive.

For example when I talk about having been depressed for ten years, what is ten years? Nothing.

It’s good that we feel this permanence to our feelings, it is what makes us human.

I only ask that when you do, recognize that this is an internal perception. Allow yourself to be loved, or hurt; let the feelings do what they must.

And then, be able to let go of them when it is time. Because holding on to pain isn’t worth the little time that we have to feel love.
