A little hope can be a powerful thing. It’s why I keep writing every day.
I never got a response from the person or persons who manage the anti-Disney Twitter account. I didn’t expect to convince them that Disney was one big fairytale, but I did hope to get at least one of their followers to reconsider.
Then yesterday I read about how Disney movies are helping some utterly hopeless, disregarded, dismissed parents of regressively autistic children form brief emotional bonds – something they were told would never happen.
Disney does not make movies because they might help a handful of people with a rare disease briefly communicable. They’re probably made with a combination of motives such as providing happiness, and profit.
Any person with a heart wouldn’t dare ask those parents to stop watching Disney movies with their kids.
